Description
Miniature tan felt Stetson hat and gold, black, and white oval hat box decorated with a cowboy. Miniature hat boxes such as this one functioned similarly to gift certificates. Each miniature represented a Stetson hat, or hats, in a particular price range. As Stetson hats were custom-fitted to an individual's head, a miniature would be given as a gift, and later exchanged for a full-sized Stetson from the given price range.
