Undated brown beaver tweed Stetson hat with caramel-colored plaid pattern, matching hat band, and silver hatpin depicting a cowboy hat, miner's pick, rope, and boot. Hat belonged to Dean Rankin, husband of John B. Stetson's great-granddaughter. Embossed: Made by Stetson Especially for Dean Rankin. Donated by Brooke Rankin, great-granddaughter of Stetson Hat Company founder John B. Stetson.
